How does a dual band antenna work?
A dual – band antenna is an antenna that can send and receive radio frequency signals at two distinct frequencies. Depending on their configuration, these antennas are capable of using either of the two frequencies individually or at the same time.
The easiest and safest way to share an antenna between two radios is with an A-B antenna switch. Only one radio at a time can use the antenna, but then you’re guaranteed that you won’t backfeed RF energy into the second radio.
